Why does Gerry White matter now? He is out of office in West Deptford, right???? Well, no he is not .   Gerry handpicked Denice Dicarlo to run for Committee, a race she lost. But that wasn’t good enough for Gerry to hear from the voters that they didn’t want Denice Dicarlo in office. No… she was handpicked by the WD Democrat Machine, led by Gerry White, to represent their interests when former Mayor Anna Docimo quit.

Why does this concern you??? Let’s look at her record on the School Board:

She served on the School Board from April 28, 2008 until April 11, 2011 – during that time she served as the Finance Chair and  her bio states she is a CPA. (See below) Her platform from last year states that she wants to hold the line on taxes but that didn’t seem to be Denise’s philosophy when she introduced the budget, her job as Finance Chair. She was also not present on March 14 to introduce the 2011 Budget. After her three years in office the School Budget went from $27,212,586 to 29,730,495 an increase of $2,517,909.

Gerry White is also responsible for Richard Giuliani, our former township CFO. Mr. Giuliani held that position, signing off on the Township’s budgets without having the qualifications to do so. Giuliani and White were also responsible for the General Ledger that we now know did not exist for YEARS at the Township.

In conjunction with the financial mess that was created under the watchful eyes of Mr. White, he made it a point to select someone who claimed in her bio to be a CPA, a qualification that she has now refused to prove. Under Dicarlos’ watch on the School Board the line was not held on the budget, in fact while the economy was tanking around us she increased the spend by 2.5 million dollars.

Do qualifications matter? Apparently under Gerry White they do not.
